In order to establish a method of microcytotoxicity test and to examine the genetic characteristics of the inbred strain mouse, the inbred strain mouse's spleen was taken out,and put in the foreign monoclonal antibodies against H_2 antigens of inbred strain mouse,the death rate of the spleen cells was observed by inverted microscope.If the percentage of the obituary cells was more than 60%,then you could be sure of acquiring the genotype of the inbred strain mouse.So we can using microcytotoxicity test to identify H_2 haploid.The results showed that microcytotoxicity test is efficient,simple and acurrate.

Objective\ To validate if the pathological characters of spontaneous osteoporosis are ratained since SAMP6 was introduced from Japan into China.Methods\ Morphometry of bone tissue and changes with aging in SAMP6 and SAMR1 were compared.Results\ In SAMP6,not only bone mineralizati content was low,but also bone trabecula were rare and small,interspace of bone trabecula was large;Conclusion\ SAMP6 is a kind of new spontaneous osteoporosis model other than castration animal,which has been successfully introduced into China.

Objective\ To determine the acute toxicity(LD\-\{50\}) of “Yao_Tong_Ning” Capsule(YTNC) for oral administration in rats and mice. Methods\ LD\-\{50\} were tested by Billis method. Results\ The YTNC was orally administrated in mice of Kunming and BALB/c, rats of SD and wistar,respectively. The LD_(50) of mice of Kunming and BALB/c was (640.44±137.57) mg/kg and (448.37±60.59) mg/kg,respectively. The LD\-\{50\} of female and male was(803.85±163.94.0) mg/kg and(6158.95±1021.70) mg/kg in SD rats, respectively. The LD\-\{50\} of female and male was (861.94±325.00) mg/kg and (5807.57±1300.39) mg/kg in wistar rats, respectively. Conclusion\ The LD\-\{50\} of male were significantly different from female in rats of SD and wistar,respectively, and LD\-\{50\} of male is 7.66 times and 6.74 times as large as female in SD and wistar rats, respectively. The LD\-\{50\} of male were not different from female in mice of Kunming and BALB/c, respectively.

Individually culturating Pasteurella multocida serotype 1, 3 and 4 were inoculated into martin broth that contains sheep hemochrome. The three bacteria culture were mixed, spinned, followed by wash the precipitate, then gel diffusion antigen was produced, which was no cross-reaction with anti-sera to NDV, HAAV, APIV, IC, SP, MG, MS, IBDV. The same mixtare of the three bacteria culture was used to immunize four-old week SPF chicks,and prepare anti-serum to fowl cholera.

Objective\ To study the effect of repeat use of experiment rabbit and the sensitivity of pyrogen.Method The rabbits were used for different times, but the same does of endotoxin were injected each rabbit, and then the temperature at every 30 minutes within four hours after injection were recorded. Results When the rabbits were reused in the pyrogen fest, the temperature of the rabbits become lower. Conclusion Rabbit's sensitivity of pyrogen became lower after they were used for several times in pyrogen test.

The laboratory beagle dogs were fed with formula feeds containing different protein sources (vegetable protein, animal protein and mixed protein).There were no significant differenes in food intake in groups. Protein sources had no obvious effect on weight gain. There was equal protein digestibility in mixed protein group and vegetable protein group. The lowest protein digestibility was in animal protein group. The organic digestibility in mixed protein group was higher than that of the other two groups.The lowost digostibility of calcium and phosphorous was in the vegetable protein group. Therefore in order to control the feed cost and under the situation without the high quality animal protein, feeding dogs with mixed protein is better.

Objective\ To investigate the infection status of STLV-1 in Macaca mulatta so as to decrease the infection ratio of STLV-1 effectively. Method Monkey serum was tested by STLV-1 ELISA. Results 103 sera were STLV-1 antibody positive, and 19 sera were STLV-1 antibody equivocal, the others were STLV-1 antibody negative in 2455 serum sent to BioReliance Co. for STLV-1 antibody test. Conclusion STLV-1 average infection ratio in Macaca mulatta is 4.97%, of which, that in cynomolgus monkey is 5.4%, twice of that in rhesus monkey, STLV-1 infection ratio in Macaca mulatta increases with age.

The objective of studies was to determine the effect of suitable nutrition level and proceeding technologies on performance and serum biochemical indexes in growing Rhesus monkey. The results showed as the follow: In same nutritional level, fed on expanded feed, the digestibility of DM and CP was 83.61%, 79.77%, while pellet feed and control feed were 81.83% , 71.71% , 80.54% , 76.32%, respectively.The Rhesus monkey showed the best weight gain fed on expanded feed. The values of serum biochemical indexes of Rhesus monkey were in normal range.

Objective\ To investigate the anesthetic effects of sodium pentabarbital and sodium phenobarbital in the experimental surgery of dog. Method\ 120 experimental dogs randomly divided into two groups were injected with 3% sodium pentabarbital in a dosage of 45 mg/kg and 5% sodium phenobarbital in a dosage of 100mg/kg through peritoneal cavity, respectively. Several anesthetic indexes were observed and compared at the same time. Result\ The acting span in the group of sodium pentabarbital was obviously shorter than that of the group of sodium phenobarbital (\%P\%<0.01), and the number of dog failed to be anesthetized in the group of sodium pentabarbital was also less than that of the group of sodium phenobarbital (\%P\%<0.05). Conclusion\ Using sodium pentabarbital injected into peritoneal cavity is a fast, effective and safety way for animal experimental anesthesia, and can provide a good anesthetic effect for experimental surgery.

To study the weight_loaded mice swimming performance in anti_fatigue test, different water_temperature regulation methods were used. The results showed that by using the method of boiled water that reduced to certain temperature can both reduce gas_formation in mice’s coat and shorten the time duration of weight_loaded mice swimming.
