    ? 172 strains of Shigella were isolated from feces of 4450 monkeys with GB 4789.28-84 method, the positive rate was 3.9%. the positive 50 S of with serology classification, belonged to B group of Shigella. 32 of the positives(64%) were 3c type and 12 of them (24%) were Y type, 3 of them were 4b, 2 of them were X type and 1 of them was 2a. All the 50 strains were tested with 10 antibiotics for effect and sensitivity. We found that Amikacinum, Cefamezin had high sensitivity. Gentamicinum only had 44% of high sensitivity, 56% of insensitivity. Both of middle and high sensitivity, Chloromycetin was 88% and Norflozacin was 82%. 15%-56% of B group of Shigella were insensitive to Norfloxacin and Gentamicinum. It was firstly reported that 3c and Y type of Shigella isolated from M. facicularis in Guangxi mainly resulted in diarhea and dysentery. It was also proved that the monkeys of normal feces and health characteristics with bacteria were the most dangerous and main resource of infection.

    ? In this study, we used senescence accelerated dementia mouse SAM-P/8 and the normal aging control mouse SAM-R/1 to investigate the age-related changes of behavior with aging degree scores cross overhead labyrinth test、 activity ability test、 to-and-fro test. The results showed that, the aging degree scores and the activity ability of SAM-P/8 mice were higher than that of SAM-R/1 mice significantly ( P <0.01) with age-increasing; in crossed overhead labyrinth test, for SAM-P/8 mice the times、 duration and distance of entering the dangerous areas were longer than those of SAM-R/1 mice with age-increasing ( P <0.01); in to-and-fro test, for SAM-P/8 mice the time of non-conditioned reflex, latent period, delaying duration were longer than that of R/1 mice ( P <0.01). The results indicated that: SAM-P/8 mice had accelerated senescence characteristics after mature period (4-6 month), which showed regular and obvious age-related changes on aging degree, learning and memory ability and cognitive function. The disorders of learning and memory, low, terror state were the main changes on behavior in SAM-P/8 mice.

    ? Rat model of hypercatabolic acute renal failure (HCARF) was developed in this study for further probing the mechanism of the disease.Sprague Dawley rats were divided into group A,group B and group C.These three groups were respectively developed into septicemia group,ischemic acute renal failure(IARF) group,and HCARF group.The model of septicemia was established by 1×10 7 colony formating unit(CFU)Escherichia coli i.p.IARF was induced by 60'clamping the left renal artery and contralateral nephrectomy.On the basis of IARF,1×10 7CFU Escherichia coli were injected to the rat's peritonium to create HCARF.Group C of HCARF manifested septicemic clinical features after operation.The blood urea nitrogen,creatinin,potassium of group C were significantly higher than other two groups while carbon dioxide combining power was significantly lower,24 hrs after operation.In addition,group C had more loss of body weight and death rate compared with other two groups.The situation which rats demonstrated confirmed to the clinical features of HCARF.For this reason,the rat model of HCARF was practical.The model was characteristic of simplicity,reliability,less trauma and better repeat.

    ? For establishing the animal model of hyteruricemia and hyperuricemic nephropathy,We fed rats with different doses of adenine,and set up the protective group with allopurinol.Blood uric acid,urine uric acid,function of the kidney,pathological morphology of the kidney were also observed. It shcwed that the blood uric acid level of “the middle dose group”began rising at the third day and continued for one week.The damage of the kidney's function occurred after ten days,and the interstitial nephritis could be found.The change of allopurinol's group was not obvious. According to it,it was obvious that “Middle dose group”was a kind of a animal model of hyperuricemia for observing protective effect of a medicine.The “Middle dose group”was also a kind of animal model of hyperuricemia nephropathy.

    ? In the present study, the in vivo effect of Ge 132 on NK cell activity and red cell immune function in tumor bearing mice was observed. The results showed that Ge 132 could significantly inhibit the growth of the tumor in the tumor bearing mice. the activity of NK cells and the levels of RBC C 3b receptor rosette forming rate(RBC C 3bRR) and RBC tumor rosette forming rate(RBC TR) in tumor bearing mice were significantly lower than those in normal control group ( P <0.01). However, the RBC immune complex rosette forming rate(RBC ICR) was higher in tumor bearing mice than that in normal control group ( P <0.01). Ge 132 could enhance NK activity and increase RC 3bRR and RBC TR and decrease RICR of tumor bearing mice compared with tumor control group. The results indicated that Ge 132 could significantly enhance the activity of NK cells and the red cell immune function in tumor bearing mice. The anti cancer effect of Ge 132 may be mediated by regulating the immune functions in tumor subjects.

Canine Reovirus type 3,designated Reo-3 AMMS,originally obtained from a dog with respiratory signs and diarrhea in China,was further confirmed by electron microscope with ultrathin sectioning and phosphotungstic acid negative staining methods.The Reo-3 virions composed of dense core and two layered capsids aggeregate to crystalline arrangement.The Reo-3 replicates in cytoplasm and releases from disrupted cells.It showed that bodies of different contents and in varying forms were seen in nucleus and cytoplasm.A large amount of filementous and tubular structures observed in cytoplasm were deemed to be relevant to viral replication.
