    Taxonomic Analysis of Wild Mice in North China

    Wild mice were collected from 10 localities in north China and their taxonomic and genetic characteristics were investigated. The body weights, lengths of head and body, tail, hindfoot, and ear of the 300 wild specimens and 30 laboratory specimens were measured, and their morphological charateristics were noted in detail. The statistic analyses of morphological characteristics between wild mice, wild males and females, wild and laboratory mice were also were studied. These quantitative values as well as their morphological characteristics were found to e useful diagnostic markers for the taxonomic identification of these mice.

    For Objective:Establish animal's model of hyteruricemia. we food chickens with different dose adenine, set up therapeutic group with allopurinol. Blood uric acid urine uric acid, function of the kidney, pathological morphology of the kidney and microstructure were observed. The results of the proceeding is that the blood uric acid level of “the middle dose group” begin rising at the third week and continued for more than eight weeks. The change of the kidney's microstructure was not obvious. The blood uric acid level could be decreased by the treatment with allopurinol. To conclude,“the middle dose group” is a kind of hyperuricemia animal model for observing therapeutic effect of a medicine.

    Received ovaries from estrous dogs and diestrous dogs. The oocytes derived from >2 mm and 1-2 mm antral follicles on estrous dogs and dietrous dogs. These oocytes were inseminated for 12h. The results were described as follows:\;①In the estrous group, the monospermy rate(31.2 %), pronuclei formation rate(19.4 %) were higher than that in the diestrous group and the polyspermy rate(12.6 %) was lower than that in the diestrous group. ②The monospermy rate of the antral follicles groups of 1-2 mm and >2 mm were higher than that of the invisible follicles group, and the pronuclei formation rate were higher than that of the invisible follicles group. ③The cleavage rate of >2 mm antral follicles was higher that of the oocytes derived from invisible follicles inestrous ovaries and diestrous ovaries. the clevage rates of oocytes derived from invisible follicles in estrous ovaries and in diestrous ovaries were no difference.

    Objective To establish a Non\|alcohlic steato\|hepatitis animal model. METHODS Male SD rats were fed with a high\|fat diet for 12 weeks which consisting of the standard diet, 10% lard and 2% cholesterol. After that then the serum lipid, aminotransferase values were detected and with histologically examination. RESULT All model group rats developed NASH which is characterized by significant obesity, elevated serum total cholesterol, free fatty acid and aminotransferase activities with histologically showed hepatocellular macrovesicular steatosis, lobular and portal inflammatory cell infiltration and necrosis. The incidence of NASH in rats with high\|fat diet is 100%. CONCLUSION A new NASH animal model was successfully developed in rats chronically fed with high\|fat diet in 3 months.

    Individual RAPD patterns from five kinds of domestic rabbit were obtained by using single primer respectively and a research on reaction of two different primers was conducted.The results demonstrated that RAPD was a potential tool of identification of different strains(lines) and reactions with two different primers tended to produce more different amplification products than single primer reactions did and that use of two different primers was a convenient and economical way of improving polymorphism.

    Hematological and blood bicohemical Parameters of three stocks of mice were determinated.The results showed:(1)Hematological values:There was significant differences in neutrophil and Lymphocyte cells of BALB/c inbred strain between sexes;There was no significant difference between sexes in C 57 BL/6J inbred strain and KM closed colony.The km mouse had lower white blood\|cell count than that of BALB/c and C 57 BL/6J inbred strain;The BALB/c inbred strain had lower eosinophil and basophilic cells than those of C 57 BL/6J inbred strain and KM mouse.(2)Biochemical values:The C 57 BL/6J inbred strain had higher CHO\,Tbili\,ALT\,AST than those of BALB/c and KM mouse,But the KM mouse had lower Cl than those of BALB/c and C 57 BL/6J inbred strain.The BALB/c inbred strain had higher Ck than those of C 57 BL/6J inbred strain.

    Objectives To test the weight of sex glands and the contents of Zn\,Cu in the mouse exposed to aluminum chloride and to study aluminum toxicity on sex glands. Methods The male mouse were divided into three groups:the control groups,the high dose groups of AlCl 3 and the low dose groups of AlCl 3. Results The weight of sex glands(except epididymis) of the high dose groups was lower than that of the control groups( P<0.05 ).Zn content of sex gland of the high dose groups decreased significantly comparing with that of the control group,while Cu increased( P<0.01).Conclusions: The high dose aluminum can affect the weight of sex glands and the contents of trace elements in the mouse.And there was also toxicity of aluminum on the sex glands of male mouse.

    In order to investigate the availability of animal models of liver fibrosis,carbon tetrachloride(CCl 4)and human serum albumin(HSA) induced rats liver fibrosis were developed and survival rates,serum concentration of ALT,AST,LDH,hepatic collagen contents and pathological examination were served as observing parameters.Results showed that these indicators in two models group were significantly different from those of normal group.They could reflect the formation of liver fibrosis and could be selected as observing parameters for treatments of experimental liver fibrosis.

    The main organs weight and body wight of 45 Beagle dogs were recorded respectively and the linear regression equation was calculated. The analysis of organ relative weight of Beagle dogs showed that the variation coefficients of spleen and thymus were larger than those of other organs. So, we suggest that it must be careful when using the weight of spleen and thymus to evaluate Beagle dogs' immune funciton.
