The expression study was carried out by using molecular hybridization technique to observe the transcription levels of HSP70 mRNA in cortices, striatums and hippocampi of rats with middle cerebral artery obliterated(MCAO). HSP70 mRNA in the cortices and striatums of the model group was found remarkably expressed at 1h, 3h, 6h, 24h and 48h after MCAO, but in the hippcampi only at 24h and 48h. The findings showed that HSP70 mRNA expression is significantly related to cerebral infarction.

Objective In order to collect the whole data about G band in chromosomes of Mongolian gerbils for cytogenetics through studying the G band from the first to the fifth chromosomes which are easily differentiated of Mongolian gerbils. Methods\ The peripheral blood was taken from the gerbils(3 males and 3 females) for lymphocyte culture.Slices were gained for the lymphocytes in the metaphase of cell division and dealed with trypsine.Then the stained samples were selected for observation.Result\ The exponent of chromosome of Mongolian gerbils showed the first chromosome and the second chromosome have 8 fuscous bands which could be differentiated by location of centromere each.The third chromosome had 6 fuscous bands which located near the centromere and far extremity of middle part in the long arm and short arm.The forth chromosome and the fifth chromosome had 4 fuscous bands each,and fuscous bands in the short arm of the fifth chromosome which could be differentiated lies in one side of centromere.Conclusion\ The first to the fifth chromosomes of Mongolian gerbils have basic specific fuscous G bands which can become important signs for compartmentalizing the chromosome band.

Objective To sthdy the immune function of BALB/c hairless mutant mice.Methods The percentages of CD4\++,CD3\++,CD8\++,CD19\++ lymphocytes and IgG level were examined by FCM and ELISA. Results\ In two_week male mice the percentages of CD19\++,CD4\++/CD8\++ lymphocytes were higher than in female mice .The percentage of CD8\++ cells of famale as higer than male. F\-2 Sparse-haired mice the parameters of CD4\++/CD8\++ of male were higer than famale .In two-week uncovered mice the parameters of CD19\++,IgG of male were higher than famale two month F\-2 Sparse_haiged mice the parameters of CD8\++ of famale were higher than male .In F\-2 uncovered mice the parameters of famale were higher than male .The parameters of the hairless mice were lower than those of Sparse-haired mice on two weeks and two months.Conclusion The mutant and also BALB/c hairless mice affected skin and coat structure affected the immune function.

Objective To evaluate the effect of abnornal light-dark regime on mouse fetal embryo.Methods\ Female mice were divided into two groups.One group was first treated by continuous light,continuous dark and light-dark inversion for seven days and then they were set to mate with male mice.The other group was treated by continuous light,continuous dark and light_dark inversion for eighteen days from the first day of pregnanly.Female mice were sacrificed when gestation got to full eighteen days and the absorptive fetus,the dead fetus were observed and the body length,the tail length,the fetus weight,the placenta weight and the liver weight were examined.Result The fetus weight and the imbedded number were decreased and the absorptive fetus were increased significantly in mice treated by light_dark inversion.The dead fetus were increased significant in mice treated by light_dark inversion during gestation.The absorptive fetus were increased in mice treated by continuous light during gestation.Conclusion\ Abnormal light-dark regime may affect the growth and development of mice fetal embryo.

Objective\ To investigate the mechanisms responsible for form-deprivation myopia(FDM). Methods\ Newborn chicks received a unilateral translucent goggle to induce form_deprivation myopia(FDM)Retinal levels of dopamine and its principal metabolites were assayed by high performance liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection. Result\ The refractive errors,axial and equatorial dimension overgrowthed in occluded eyes as compared with the control eyes.The difference was statistically significant, so as to dopamine and its metabolites.The experiment found that 5 HIAA,the metabolites of 5 HT reduced as compsred to control eyes. Conclusions\ Retinal dopamme may regulate visual experience and the eye’s growth in the axial dimension,and 5 HT may participate in the development of FDM as transmitter.

Objective\ To study the change of the secretion of isolated toad adrenal chromaffin cells by TMP. Objective For producting bacterial liquid of cuvette agglutination reaction and antiserum against \%Brucella\% spp. of laboratory dog. Methods\ The live culture medium was washed with 0 5% phenyl hydroxide and 0 9% sodium chloride. The ideal bacterial concentration was confirmed by assimilating with standard bacterial liquid. Through infecting the antigen intravenously into Beagle dog and rabbit the antiserum was obtained, and the antiserum was characterized according to cuvette agglutination reaction. Results\ S_antiserum value of rabbits was above 1:3200, R_antiserum value was above 1:2560 Antiserum value of Beagle dogs was lower only up to 1:640 Conclusion We can obtain higher S-serum by injecting directly S-Brucella liquid to ear vein, but we can obtain higher R-antiserum when immunological agent is added to R-Brucella liquid by injecting muscle.

To obtain the information of the normal parameters of physiology and biochemistry, tumor sensitivity and resisance to ionizing radiation, and determine indication of hematology and serum biochemistry, G_banding pattern, spontaneous aberration frequency, LD\-\{50\} to 137 Cs γ ray and changes of mucleated cell count, DNA content, CFU_S in bone marrow cells and WBC in peripheral blood following irradiated with 4 Gy 137 Cs γ ray were performed in IRM_2 mouse. The results showed that chromosome break rate wad 0\^33%, and centric aberration and traslocation rate was 0\^08%, respectively. LD\-\{50\} to 137 Cs γ ray were 7\^17(♂)~7 50(♀), that is 1.73~1.57 Gy and 1.44 Gy higher than those of ICR and 615 mouse, respectively. The sensitivity to T_739 lung adenocarcinoma and breast cancer was higher. IRM_2 inbred strain mouse had the following properties:the stabile parameters of hematology and serum biochemistry, low spontaneous aberration frequency and higher resistance to ionizing radiation.

To observe the effects of different doses of SU-MIAN-XIN in anesthetizing rats. 18 Wistar rats were divided into three groups with 6 rats in each group. Each group was anesthetized with SU MIAN XIN intramuscularly in dosage of 0\^4mL/kg\,0\^8mL/kg\,1\^2mL/kg, respectively. The rats that were given in a dose of 0\^4mL/kg took(7±1)min to get properly anesthetized and could maintain (31±6)min; 0\^8mL/kg were (5±1)min and (89±11)min; 1\^2mL/kg were (4±1)min and (111±10)min. Under the anesthesia, respiratory rates were(62±12)\,(60±11)\,(70±15) per minute and heart rate (175±16)\,(165±12)\,(165±13) per minute, respectively. Rats can be anesthetized with SU-MIAN-XIN with the practical doses from 0\^4mL/kg to 0\^8mL/kg by given intramuscularly.

Objective To analyse the effect on pyrogen test by rabbit restrained time. Methods\ The pyrogen test of biologics of 《Chinese Requirements for biologics》 edited in 2000 was followed. Results\ Beying the Biologics, all batches of the products pass the test with 6 body temperature recorders. While prolonging the rabbit restrained time for 2 hours, the batches that fail and need to repeat the test accounted for 30\^8% in the total batches measured. The difference of the two results is significant (\%P\%<0\^05) as for the various restrained time. Condusion A long time-restrained rabbits could lead to a wrong result of pyrogen test.

Objective To study the feasibility of corn cane as a new bedding. Methods\ KM mice were divided into three groups: toilet paper group,shaving group and corn cane group, respectively, and the hygroscopic forces of the bedding material were analyzed The growing curve and breeding function were determined Result\ The growing curve in corn cane group was lower than toilet paper and shaving group,and there were not significant difference in three groups( P >0 05) Average numbers per pregnancy are 9 76 and weaning rate is 99 1 3% in corn cane group,they were higher than those in toilet paper and shaving group( P <0 05) But there were not significant difference in their born weight( P >0 05) Pregnancy interval in corn cane group was longer than in toilet paper group,but it was shorter than in shaving group( P <0 05) The difference between the hygroscopic forces of the non_sterilized maize straw and the maize straw sterilized with autodace was not significant( P >0 05),and there was not significant difference between the hygroscopic of the maize straw and the hygroscopic of the paring( P >0 05) The difference between the hygroscopic forces of maize straw and the hygroscopic forces of paring were not significant( P >0 05) The hygroscopic forces of maize straw and paring were lower than the hygroscopic forces of toilet paper( P <0 05) Conclusion\ Corn cane is a proper bedding material for laboratory animals.

Objective\ To investigate the laboratory animals’ reusing rate in animal surgical experiments. Method\ The data of 158 cases from Sep 1999 to July 2002 were studied,paying more attention to following aspects including preoperative preparation,individual difference and dosage of anesthetic on laboratory animals. Result\ The reusing rate was raised significantly, because we payed more attention to the difference of the anatomy structure, decreasing the latent disadvantage agent affecting the heart and lung function, keeping warm after operation and promoting the recovery of respiratory function.Conclusion\ The reusing rate rise significantly, if we improve preoperative preparation, management during operation and postoperative nursing.
