Study on Hemorrheology and Relevant Serum Biochemistry Values in Old SD Rats

Objective To learn about the biological characteristics of the old SD rats, hemorrheological parameters and serum biochemistry values such as SOD, MDA, TG, TC and GLU of the old and the adult SD rats and the differences between the old and the adult SD rats were compared. Method Twenty old SD rats (SPF, 15 months) and 20 adult SD rats (SPF, 3months) were used in this experiment, hemorrheological parameters and serum biochemistry, values were determined using the instruments of hemorrheology and the semi-automatic biochemistry analyzer respectively. Results The whole blood viscosity, the whole blood deoxidized viscosity, the aggregation index of RBC, the electrophoresis index of RBC, the TC and the MDA of the old SD rat were significantly higher than those of the younsers(%P%<0.05, %P%<0.01).Conclusion The indexes showed above are related to the age. They are all increased when the rat get old, which demonstrate the similar trend to human being.

The Effect of the Kidney and Blood Refreshing Treatment on Rat in Menopause

Purpose To study the function of the kidney and blood refreshing treatment to the menopause syndrome. Method: The function of the kidney and blood refreshing treatment to the womb weight exponent, vagina paint and the content of the serum FSH of SD rat in menopause were observed.Result: (1)Womb weight index increased in the dosage-dependent manner of the kidney and blood refreshing treatment.(2)There was keratosis phenomenon in different degree on the vagina epithelia of SD rat in menopause.(3)The kidney and blood refreshing treatment can decreased the content of the serum FSH of SD rat in menopause obviously.Conclusion: The kidney and blood refreshing treatment can decrease the content of the serum FSH of SD rat in menopause. Accordingly, it can improve the menopause syndrome effectively.

Objective To study the relationship of structure and function of thymus and day-age in mice. Method The apoptosis and amount of thymocytes in different day-age mice were observed. These samples were examined by immunohistochemical ABC methods. Result Apoptosis of thymocytes were observed in mice of different age. Apoptosis of thymocytes of newborn mice,14 d, 28 d mice did'nt show significent difference(P> 0.05). Apoptosis of thymocytes is increased in mice of 42 d and 56 d(P<0.01) and T cells are reduced(P<0.05; P<0.01). Conclusion Thymic function of immature mice is normal. But it is no increased when mice development. After mice be born 42 d, Apoptosis of thymocytes is increased, Mature T cells are decreased and function were reduced.

Objective To establish the credible examination methods of LPL(-/-) knock-out mice and to find out their breeding rule. Methods The mice were bred in different ways,including crossbreed,backcross and intercross. In order to determine the genotype of the mice by PCR,genomic DNA of LPL(-/-) knock-out mice was extracted from tails. Results LPL(-/-) knock-out mice was made successfully. The credible breeding process and examination methods were established as well.Conclusion The animal model of LPL(-/-) knock-out mice was developed.

Objective To obtain the basic data of biological parameters of Beagledogs in adult. Methods Routine methods and instrument were used to determine the biological parameters of 7months old and 8 months old over Beagle. Results There were a few significant differences in Beagledogs between sexs (male and female Beagle). The parameters of Hgb、TP、ALP、Ca of female Beagledogs were higher than those of male Beagledogs in seven months old, while the parameters of UA、LDH-H、Cl、Mg of female Beagledogs were lower, and the parameters of neutral cell and Cre of male Beagledogs were higher than those of female Beagledog in eight months old. There were also a few differences in Bagledogs between different ages. The parameters of CK、TP、LDH-L、Ca、K、Na of eight months old Beagledogs were higher than those of seven months old Beagledogs, while the parameters of Glu、Ck of eight months old were lower. Other indexes were no significant differences. Conclusion There are significant differences of some biological parameters in different sexs and ages. The all indexes are relatively stabilization, which indicated that the Beagle colony has been a comparatively stable closed colony.

Earth Worm Active Protein Forage Additive (EWAPF) was added in special experimental animal forage (1∶100) to feed BALB/c mice for 6 months. The results showed that both the body weight of the newborns and the body weight increase rate were higher than those without EWAPF. The interval of two pregnancies was shortened and the pregnant rate per litter was increased. The anti fatigue ability caused by swimming was raised.

To explore general anesthesia of sows using Chlorali Hydras and Bitter Salt in hyperthermia treatment of tumer. The results showed that the pigs which were fatter could be anaesthesiaed longer by using of the mix anaesthetic. The swines could be kept calm in the period of the experiment.Therefore Chlorali Hydras and Bitter Salt anaesthetic can be a good drug for general anesthesia of pigs.

Objective To investigate the anaesthesia effect of compound dimethylbenzene amicathiazine and solium pentobarbital on pignets.Methods Every subject was narcosised with of compound dimethylbenzene amicathiazine and solium pentobarbital, the data were analysized.Results Among all subjects, 94%(47 to 50) were successful, 4%(2 to 50) were overanaesthesiaed, 2%(1 to 50) died from repid injection.Conclusions Anaesthesia with compound dimethylbenzene amicathiazine and solium pentobarbital is efficient and safe, with muscles relaxation being sufficient, anima signs stabilization and sooner coming round.

To avoid the autolysis of brain tissue after animal death. The cardio_perfusion technique, 4% polyformaldehyde after normal saline for 40 minutes, was used in heart beating male SD rats. This method can effectively prevent the autolysis of rat brain in brain tissue sections.

Objective To study the nursing cooperation on the transarterial intervention experiment of transplantation hepatoma model on rats. Method Delicate and active pre_operation and post_operation nursing strateg were carried out on the experimental operation of 20 rat models. Result The success rate of administration by transarterial intervention technique reachedto 100%.Post_operative survival rate was 90%.Conelusion Experienced nursing cooperation helps to promote the success rate of the transarterial intervention experiment on rats, which suggests that skilled nursing technique plays an important role in the transcatheter arterial chemoembolization for the patients with hepatoma.

Because the theory of ECG formation is complicated, it is always a difficult point in teaching. The authors studied the experimental method and observation items of toad ECG and turns it into an objective teaching experiment that is aimple in method. The experiment explains some basic problems of clinical ECG lively and it is helpful for students to understand and grasp ECG.
