Abstract: Objective To three kinds of primary testicular tumor pathology diagnosis and analysis,unique canine testicular primary tumor pathological characteristics,provide data for the diagnosis of primary testicular tumor.Method China Agricultural University National Animal TSE Lab collected from China Agricultural University animal hospital clinical cases of testicular neoplasm,from 2013 to 2015,a total of 35 cases,and made into slices,H. E. dye,according to the pathology diagnosis and differential diagnosis,comparison,tumor cells morphological characteristics,according to the histological characteristics identification of cell origin,summarize the main points three kinds of pathological features and differential diagnosis of the tumor. Result compare histopathological features of dog seminoma,sertoli cell tumor and interstitial cell tumor,summarize the clinical features of testicular tumors,for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of this tumor in the future to provide effective information.Conclusion seminoma,sertoli cell tumor and interstitial cell tumor for common primary testicular tumor,common in older dogs,low incidence of malignant testicular tumors. Due to the different tumor cell source,presents different histopathological features.

Abstract: Drosophila melanogaster is one of the most important model organisms in biological and medical research.It is understood that the three pillars of successful Drosophila experiments are: proper culture condition,efficient transgenic technology,and standardized strain preservation. As the biggest fly resource platform in China,Tsinghua Fly Center ( THFC) is experienced in fly genetics and fly preservation. This article summarizes the standard methods of fly culture,new strain production and strain preservation developed by THFC,aiming to provide information for the Chinese Drosophila research community,and to expedite important biological and medical researches that use Drosophila as model organism.

Abstract: SNP markers were developed from the transcriptome of tree shrew ( Tupaiabelangeri) abdominal adipose tissues among 6 different normal healthy tree shrews. After detecting 274 278 568 unigenes ( 43 138 415 bp) ,a total of 263 071 SNPs were identified in 262 980 unigenes ( 5. 75%) with the frequency of 1 /164bp, including transition 177 562 and transversion 85 509. A/G and C /T are the main types,accounting for 33. 85% and 33. 66% of all the SNPs, respectively. All the 262 980 SNP of all the unigenes were functionally annotated using the GenBankNrdatabas,geneontology ( GO) ,clusters of orthologous groups ( COG) and KEGG pathways. There are 1 178 SNPs annotated by GO,77 SNPs annotated by COG and 1 080 annotated by KEGG,which may link with the key genes of adipose formation and metabolism in adipose tissue,were obtained.

Abstract: Objective The aim of this study is to establish the in vitro culture method for primary naked mole rat astrocytes,and observe effects of different oxygenous concentration to naked mole rat astrocyte proliferation and growth status,and find the most convenient concentration of O2 for naked mole rat culture in vitro. Method Astrocytes isolated from new-born naked mole rat brain with the aid of mechanical and enzyme digestion method were purified by means of shaking-off method. For further investigation,naked mole rat astrocytes incubated in a series of different O2 concentration of 3%,5%,10%,and 20% were processed for the analysis of proliferation with CCK8 staining and growth status with immunocytochemistry according to the morphology of the cells at scheduled time-points. Result Mechanical and enzyme digestion method combined with shaking-off method were feasible for naked mole rat astrocyte in vitro culture. Naked mole rat astrocyte proliferation in vitro mainly depends on the concentration of O2 . As the incensement of O2 concentration,naked mole rat astrocyte grow faster. For morphological investigation,under 20% O2 concentration,soma of naked mole rat astrocytes shrink and possesses fewer cellular processes,While,when O2 concentration was below 10%,naked mole rat astrocytes possesses more processes,Conclusion Mechanical and enzyme digestion method,combined with shaking-off method were appropriate for naked mole rat astrocyte culture in vitro,and 10% O2 concentration will ensure the proliferation and growth status in high quality of the cells.

Abstract: Objective To observe the toxicity of broken ganoderma lucidum spore powder capsule. Method ( 1) Acute toxicity test: select 20 Kunming mice in total by male and female in half,fasted for 16 h before the experiment,intragastric administration for three times in 24 h with the dose of 15 g /kg BW. After intragastric administration,continuous observation for 7 d and record poisoning manifestations and death case. ( 2) 30 d feeding test: select 80 weaning rats with the weight about 60 g by male and female in half. The 80 rats were randomly divided into four groups,control group and high,and,low experimental group ( 1. 5,0. 75,0. 375 g /kgBW) ,each dose group was incorporated into the subject matter with 1. 5%,0. 75%,0. 375% at the basis of powder subjects, single cage feeding and free diet for 30 days continuously,then observing and recording the feed intake and body weight of the rats. The general performance of the rats,weight,food utilization rate,blood routine and biochemical indexes such as white blood cell count and classification,the red blood cell count,hemoglobin,aspartate aminotransferase,alanine aminotransferase,blood urea nitrogen,creatinine,cholesterol,triglycerides,blood glucose,total protein,albumin were observed. Result There was no significant difference in body weight,food utilization rate between control group and each dose group ( P > 0. 05) . The blood index: white blood cell count,classification,red blood cell count,hemoglobin and biochemical indexes: alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase,blood urea nitrogen,creatinine,cholesterol,triglyceride,blood glucose,total protein and albumin were within the normal range. The acute toxicity of subject matter LD50 were greater than 15 g /kgBW for the two sexes of mice. Conclusion The broken ganoderma lucidum spore powder capsule is non - toxic.

Abstract: Microtus fortis is one of the important resources as laboratory animal. In this review we summarized the work of breeding this animal from wild as laboratory animal in over the past ten years,the researches including of biological characteristics; the founder and effective size of the population; tameness and domestication ( breeding as laboratory animal) as well as the evolutionary force in this process. It was described that evaluation results of breeding as laboratory animal and formulation of local standard of this vole. New technology in finding the vole resistance gene of Schistosoma japonicum and new method of breeding strains will be expected under next-generation sequencing technique.

Abstract: The biological characteristics of grey hamster ( Cricetulus migratorius ) were briefly introduced for ecological adaptability,reproduction,growth,blood biochemistry,hibernation and bring pathogenic spectrum,the establishments on the animal models both plague and hydatid disease with grey hamster,and the application of grey hamster for echinococcosis,plague,kala-azar and scald. Abstract: The golden hamster ( golden hamster; Mesocricetus auratus) and also called Syrian hamster,golden yellow,adult weight is 120—150 g,chromosome 22. At present the different strains of golden hamster in the world are the progeny of hamsters found in Syria in 1930 year and they have a common ancestor and genetic kinship. The golden hamsters were widely used in microbiology,oncology,endocrinology,tissue transplantation research,in addition they has also been used extensively for manufacturing JE vaccine and rabies vaccine. The Chengdu company used the golden hamsters for manufacturing the JE attenuated live vaccine for long time. The SPF golden hamster key colony was established by the end of 2003 and achieve to the scale production of the golden hamsters in March,2004. For 13 years,total output of SPF golden hamsters is 1. 8 million and are supplied 1. 5 million for manufacturing JE attenuated live vaccine. Total output of JE attenuated live vaccine is 230 million doses and create the industrial value of 2. 1 billion RMB ( including export MYM90 million) . In order to maintain a long - term genetic stability and quality stability of SPF golden hamster colony,we established a set of standardized management system and quality control system. Over the past 10 years,whether it is the company's self inspection or sent to the national laboratory testing or sent to foreign laboratory testing. All testing results are negative. In 2013,JE attenuated live vaccine passed though pre - certification by the WHO successfully,as key raw materials, SPF golden hamsters,their quality has also been recognized by WHO inspector.
