Abstract: Abstract: The red crucian carp has many unique advantages as laboratory animals，such as appropriate body size， early sexual maturity，strong fecundity，in vitro spawning development，body red，omnivorous diet． Since the beginning of this century，the research on domestication，breeding of stock and strains，biological characteristics and local standards of the red crucian carp has been carried out． The laboratory red crucian carp has been widely used for fish breeding，toxicology，genetics，physiology，water environment monitoring．

摘要： 摘要: 实验红鲫具有体型大小适当、成熟早、繁殖力强、体外产卵发育、体色全红、杂食性等优点。本世纪初以来，开展了实验红鲫驯化、品( 种) 系培育、生物学特性、地方标准等研究。实验红鲫已广泛应用于鱼类育种、毒理学、遗传学、生理学、水生态环境监测等。
