     Objective The animal model of melamine on SD pregnant mice is to study the effects of melamine on pregnant mice. MethodDuring the pregnancy, melamine at concentrations of 0,120,240,360,480,600,720 mg/kg•d was fed to observe the growth of pregnant mice ,the number of offspring ,the concentrations of melamine in fetal blood and kidneys by ELISA assay, and to detect the  function and pathological changes of fetal kidney. Result The group determined as the model group is that fed at concentration of 720 mg/kg•d: the growth rate during pregnancy was decreased (P <0.05); the development of offsprings were affected (P <0.05); the concentrations of melamine in fetal blood and kidney were higher (P <0.05); the function of fetal kidney was destroyed; And significant pathological changes appeared in renal tissue. Conclusion The pregnantmice fed with melamine at concentration of 720 mg/kg•d has serious toxic effect , and the animal model of melamine on the pregnant mice was established successfully.

    Objective  To establish the animal model of depressed rats and evaluate the related parameters. Methods A total of 40 adult SD rats were randomly divided into ontrol group(n=20),and model group(n=20).Using the chronic unpredictable mild stress to establish the animal model of depressed rats,.The behavior of rats was tested at each weekend.The behaviors of rats were evaluated by open-field test, and the consumption of saccharose, body weight, and the content of NE、5-HT、CORT were observed too. Results There were differences in crossing and rearing score in open-field test,the consumption of saccharose, body weight, intake,NE,5-HT,CORT between model groups and blank control groups(p<0.05orp<0.01). Conclusion Using the chronic unpredictable mild stress the animal model of depressed rats was established which accorded with the requested characteristics of depression,and could be regarded as experimental model of depression.

    Objective To study the hemodynamic influence of “Xueluofuxin” granula in acute blood stasis rats.Methods:The rats were injected with adrenalin hydrochloride twice subcutaneously and socked in ice-water to establish the blood stasis model.Blood were taken out from abdominal aorta and the whole viscosity , plasma viscosity (PV), hematokrit (HCT), and erythrocyte electrophoretic time were measured. Results:“Xueluofuxin” granula can obviously decrease the whole blood viscosity, PV, HCT, and erythrocyte electrophoretic time. Conclusion:“Xueluofuxin” granula has the effect of improving hemodynamic condition.

    Objectives: To investigate the effects of single pancreatic juice reflux on esophageal mucosa,and to establish rat models of reflux esophagitis.Methods:We produced esophagitis in two experimental groups of Sprague-Dawley rats: Group A, gastrectomy and end-to-side esophagojejunostomy and bile-duct-jejunostomy; Group B, control group. The esophageal samples were taken at different time after operation and studied.Results:Most of the rats in reflux group displayed evidence of reflux esophagitis,which was more severe in lower part of esophagus than in upper part,and more severe with postoperation time.The main histologic changes were inflammation, erosion,ulcer and epithelial cell hyperplasia.Esophageal mucosa injury was most severe in A group,then in B group.Conclustions:These results suggest that models of single pancreatic juice reflux esophagitis be successfully made.The pancreatic juice can injury esophageal mucosa seriously.It may play an important role in the pathogenesis of GERD and its complications.

    To observe effects of therapeutic dose of itopride hydrochloride on rat animal model with acid reflux esophagitis.METHODS To study the effect of therapeutic dose of itopride hydrochloride on intestinal propulsion and pathological moriphology of esophagus mucosa with acid reflux esophagitis induced by pyloric partial ligation and cardiac sphincter dissection .RESULT The itopride hydrochloride has significant effect on intestinal propulsion function and relieve esophagus mucosa injury of rat animal model.CONCLUSION The therapeutic dose of itopride hydrochloride has obvious curative effect on acid reflux esophagitis rat animal.

    [Abstract] Objective To observe routine pathological changes of the pancreas, kidney, testis and ovary in spontaneous diabetic mice. Methods C57BL/KsJ- db/db mice with blood glucose over 10.1 mmol/L at 2, 7 and 12 month entered this study, after sacrificed, their organs pancreas, kidney, testis and ovary were soaked in 10% formalin for HE coloration and general pathological section. Results At 7 or 12 month, the pancreas tissues had lymphocyte infiltration, partial pancreas islets size increase and condulet hyperplasy ectasia; the kidney showed partial glomerular cell numbers increase, mesangial cell hyperplasy and basilar membrane thickening; the ovary was small with less egg follicle and missing corepus luteum; the testis was weak in spermatozoa genesis. Conclusion Some pathological changes of pancreas, kidney, testis and ovary may be observed in the C57BL/KsJ- db/db mice of spontaneous diabetes.

    Objetive To establish the hyperkalemia model of guinea pig and to compare the effectiveness between conventional therapy and vagus nerve stimulating therapy ;and to observe activity changes of Na-K-ATPase in myocardium and liver under hyperkalemia conditions,in order to make further research on the mechanism of the hyperkalemia, as a basis of the establishment of experiment for undergraduate students. Methods KCl aq was separately injected through abdominal cavity to make hyperkalemia and the changes of ECG were observed with the biological signal gathering analysis system type BL-420F; ion concentration was recorded by biochemical analyzer; ELISA Kits were used to determine activities of Na-K-ATPase. Results After injecting KCl, potassium content in plasma increased,,Na-KATPase activity increased in myocardium and liver. Meanwhile, P waves lowered, T waves tented, QRS complex widened, PR intervals prolongaed and QT intervals shortened Therapies attenuated all these index , especially the glucose and insulin therapy group. Conclusion: injection of KCl aq can successfully produce the model of hyperkalemia and glucose/insulin is the best therapy in the therapies we used, in addition, stimulating vagus nerve can effectively reduce the serum potassium concentration. The results of Na-KATPase suggest that promote the postassium into cells is the basic of hyperkalemia therapy.

    Objective To investigate the optimal condition of the SPF Laboratory animal paper conveniance box and the expiry date in the barrier system. Methods Take out vacuum 3 times, dry 5 mins, 121 ℃,respectively put out the different time to the conveyance packing box. The sterilizing packing boxes in the barrier system were monitored with the different time respectively to compare. Results and Conclusion Under the following procedures( to obtain vacuum,pumping the container 3times ,drying for 5 min at 121℃,and heating for 25min)germ free condition can be achieved .The storage expiry period in barries systemis within three days.

    Objective To survey the nutrient of Laboratory animal feed in Beijing market and to see if it reach the national standard of china. Methods The Animal feed for rat, dog,monkey, swine and rabbit from Company A and B were analyzed by methods of GBT 14924.9-2001,including components water、 ash、 fat 、fiber、 protein 、calcium and phosphorus and compared with the nation standard. Results The nutrient in rat, dog and monkey feed reached the national standard but thoes in swine and rabbit did not reached the national standard . Conclusion Product from company A showed good and stable quality.
