A several kinds of mice diets were respectively sterilized by different methods and condcuted to experiments on the apparent digestibility(AD) in mice. The result indicated that there were no significant difference (P>0.05) in the AD of dry material(DM),crudeprotein(CP), crude fat and crude filer between γ-ray sterilization and untreated diets, Although the AD of crude fat, crude fiber of high pressure sterilization diet was not significantly different with that of untreated diet(p>0.05), the AD of CP, DM of it was significantly lower than untreated control diet (P<0.01) .In three kinds of high pressure sterilization diet, the AD of CP was the highest in the diet treated with prevaeumm and high pressure sterilization at 126℃ for 15 minutes, Whereas the AD of CP was the lowest in the diet of high pressure sterilization at 121℃ for 30 min. There was significant difference (P<0.05) in the AD of between them above

An ELISA Kit for detecting Seudai virus antibody in rats was established. Horseradish oxidase labeled rabbit-anti-rat IgG was used as the second antibody. 128 (conventional condition)and 15 (barrier system) rats had been detected, the results were: positive rates 81％ and orespectively. It was concluded that ELISA Kit have many advantages over the classical methodes, with high reprodueity, sensitivity and specificity. It may be used as an acceptable methobs in conventional virus monitoring.
