The model ofexperimental splenic deficiency mice was reproduced by Chinese herbsdecoction(po qi ku jiang drug)combined with restricted feeding,By application of atomic absorptionspectrometry the serum contents of Zn,Cu and Fe of the splenic deficiency mice were assayed and com-pared with normal control In the splenic deficiency animal the Zn value is decreased pparently(p<0。001),the Cu and Fe values without obvious changes(p>0.05),and the Cu/Zn ratio is elevated,Follow-ing treatment with Chinese herbs (jia wei si jun zi decoction),the Zn raised apparently or even higher thanthe normal level(p<0.05),and the Cu raised also(p≤0.05),however,the Fe value and the Cu/ Zn ratiodid not show obvious differences.investigation provides the following suggestions:(1)the declinationof Zn value in experimental animals is very likely related to digestive disorder;(2)the Chinese berbs (jiawei si jun zi decoction)possess effective action on regulation and restoration of the Zn content andCu/Zn ratio.

In this study,the relation bacterial intestinal flora and bacteriatranslocation was analysed.We compared with T cell,B cell and NK- deficiency.The results demonstrated thatthere was significant decreases of bacteroides and lactic acid bacillus population levels incontents of cecum.It suggests that there was a correlation between bacteroides,lactic acid bacillus and Tcell- deficiency They play a important role in the intestinal bacterial translocation.
