Objective to study the susceptibility of Beagle dogs and C 3H mice to infection with Ehrlichia canis,and establish laboratory model of canine ehrlichiosis.The leucocyte of German shepherd who suffer from canine ehrlichiosis in China were inoculated to Beagle dogs and C 3H mice.They appeared to be infection by the test of PCR.The artificial infected Beagle dogs were very similar to natural infected German shepherds in clinical manifestation and pathological changes.It is concluded that Beagle dogs and C 3H mice were susceptible to E.canis,and a new laboratory model of canine ehrlichiosis was successfully developed in Beagle dogs.

Pathologic changes of Gastric Mucosa were boserved in combined rat models in CAG Disease and syndrome of expenrimental 51 week.The feminine Wistar rats were divided into control group (8 heads),the CAG group (14 heads),the insufficiency of spleen and CAG group (9 heads),the stagnation of the liver-qi and CAG group (12 heads) and the deficiency of kidney and CAG group (4 heads).The CAG model group was formed by using active immunometry and drinking natrium deoxycholic acid and the water solution of aspirin alternately,the insufficiency of spleen group using the method of Hao Qi Po Qi and abnormal starvation and satietation,the stagnation of liver-qi group using the method of cliping tails and injecting adrenalin,the deficiency of kidney using the method of drinking MTU.The total time of making models was 51 weeks.When the models were completed,gastric mucosa were taken out and made paraffin section,HE steined,observed under microsope and measured appearance.At the same time,the DNA ploidy and proliferous activity of gastric mucosa epitheliol cells were measureded by FCM.The astrophic changes of gastric mucosa were most obvious in the insufficiency of spleen group and the deficiency of kidney group.All experimental groups did not seem significant changes of hyperplasia and inflammation in fibrous tissue of gastric mucosa lamina propria.There was inflmmatory cell inflitration in submucous layer mainly.It was more striking of the DNA ploidy and proliferous activity of gastric mucosa cells in the CAG group,the insufficiency of spleen and CAG group and the deficiency of kidney and CAG group.There was obvious changes of gastric mucosa in all CAG model groups.Different disease and syndrome combined model had different pathologic temperament.

Twenty-five items had been measured for the mandibles of 22 female Macaca mulatta from breeding.Variables correlation analysis and Q clustering analysis of 14 adult mandibles have been done.Most dimensions were tightly correlation to age,except SB,MT,CB,CA and IMD.There were positive and negative correlations between various measurements,but most of correlation degree were low.

To study the effect of mixed extracts from rice bean, medlar and peanut coat on immunization in mice, seven immune indexes were measured. The results showed that the cellular immunity, humoral immunity, no-specify immunity and production of IL-2 were all enhanced in mice. These results indicated that the extracts have the effect on improvement of immunological function.

Chicken infectious anaemia disease is caused by chicken anaemia virus(CAV).It seems to have a worldwide distribution both in meat-type and egg-laying chickens of all ages,as well as infects SPF chickens.CAV is non-enveloped,icosahedral DNA virus with a single-stranded,circular genome of 2.3kb.It transmits both vertically and horizontally.It causes a syndrome in chicken characterized by increased mortality,astrophy of the haematopoietic tissues in the born marrow,subcutaneous and intramuscular haemorrhages,immunosuppression as a result of the lymphoid system,skin lesions et al.Only one serotype of CAV has been found in the world.Both clinical and subclinical diseases lead to severely economic losses.

The propose of the study is to determine the protein requirement and the digestible protein requirement of adult Beagle dogs fed practical dry-type diets containing mixed protein sources by nitrogen balance test.The results indicate the regression equation between nitrogen consumed and nitrogen retained is Y\-1= 4.29 +1.35X\-1 and the regression equation between nitrogen digested and nitrogen retained is Y\-2=2.12+0.89X\-2.It indicates adult Beagle dogs require 26.81g/d protein(4.29g/d nitrogen)or require 13.25g/d digestible protein (2.12g/d digestible nitrogen)

Objective To raise the standard of microbiology of New Zealand rabbit by knocking out the pathogenic microorganism in vitro and vivo and biological purification.Methods Laparohysterotomy in the isolators was used in 11 in-labor New Zealand rabbits.34 baby rabbits whose weight were higher than 50g were selected and feed with artificial milk.Rusults 42d later,27 baby rabbits existed with the stopping location and existence percentage was 74.9%.Tested by Guangdong Laboratory Animal Monitoring Institute,the new-born rabbits fulfill the clean standards.Conclusion this system is valuable in biological purification of laboratory animal.
