A model of the transplantation of human lung adenocarcinoma with highexpression of CEA in nude mice(LAX-91)was established by the direct transplantation ofa surgical specimen from a patient with well-differentiated Iung cancer subcutaneously inthe NIH nude mice.The transplanted tumor had been passed on for more than two yearsthrough 32 passages.The LAX-91 tumor had short incubation Periods and grew quitesteadily.The rate of success was 100%. Pathohistological obseryation of the transplantedtumor in each generation showed that it had maintained the structure of the original human tumor and had the function of secretion.Chromosomal analysis revealed that the tumor cells had the characteristics of the human malignant tumor.The results of serum CEA con-tent determination for various times indicated that the LAX-91 tumor had possessed the biological claracteristics of secreting CEA stably and highly. The establishment of such a transplanted tumor model provides a useful method for the further studying of the relations between human Iung cancer and CEA.

Three nude mice solide tumor models bearing human brain tumors wereestablished with tumor tissue from the Patients,the initial succeesful transplantation rate of that method was 42.8%.The transplanted tumors kept the nature of initial tumors on qual-ily,blood supply tissue structure,growth speciality and so on.The method with tumor tis-sue is better than that with cell line , because of its directness,quickness and steadiness.The high rate of success is due to quick inoculation,With long term observation and purgative condition.

This psper reports the measurement of parameters in M─Mode,Two─ dimensional and ultrasound Doppler cardiograms of adult healthy canines. Effects of sex and body weifht on the 33 parameters are analysd.The purpese of this study is to pro-vide normal parameters for the in vestigation of disease models of the canhe.The result shows that the effecf of sex difference is not significant on the anatomicparameters,but significent on the hemoclynamicparameters and the main parameters ap-pear relative with the differences of the body weifht.It is better stability on the parametersin anatomic morphology than hemodynamics.
