    To study population genetic characteristic of Mongolian Gerbil of Capital University of Midical Sciences,27 loci of two colonies were determined by monitoring methods of biochemical markers.The result showed that the two colonies had high level of genetic diversity and low degree of genetic similarity;compared with the original colony,the biological purifying colony had 7.14% gene lost,but the two colonied did not appear obvious genetic differentiation(F-ST<0.05);the population deviated from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium(P<0.05).

    Objective To study the expression of major histocompatibility complex(H-2) at nucleic acid and protein levels in transplantable liver cancer,and get the primary hint of the tumor transplantability.Methods To detect the mRNA levels of H-2 with RT-PCR technology,and observe its protein expression with immunohistology in transplantable liver tumor H_(22) growing in BALB/c mice.Results To compare with the liver of bearing tumor mouse,the mRNA levels of H-2 were normal and its protein expression was decreased.Conclusions The down regulation of H-2 in protein expression may be related with the transplantbility in mouse transplantable liver cancer H_(22).

    After lethal total body irradiation(9.0 Gy),BALB/c and CB6F1 were transplanted with 4.5×10~6 bone marrow cells plus 3×10~7 spleen cells from donors C57BL/6 mice.All recipients mice developed classic GVHD and died by day 17 post-transplant.The models of C57BL/6→BALB/c and C57BL/6→CB6F1 are classic MHCfull-mismatched and MHC-haplo-identical GVHD animal models to induce lethal GVHD.

    Objective To explore the effect and mechanism of Echinacoside on SAM-P/8's learning and memory ability.Methods SAM-P/8 mice were fed Echinacoside for 30 days continuously.Total protein,total antioxdative ability and acetylcholine of brain were detected by chemic kits.And the IL-2 of serum was examined by radio-immuno assay.Results The data shows that Echinacoside can improve total protein,total antioxdative ability and reduce acetylcholine as well as IL-2.Conclusion Echinacoside can increase the learning and memory ability of SAM-P/8,which may be related to reducing oxidative damage of the brain.

    Objective To study the effects of sucrose and american ginseng on glycogen in mice.Methods 3 tests were engaged,40 mice were used in each test,and they were divided into 4 groups: deionized water,0.7g/kg sucrose,0.33g/kg american ginseng,and combination sucrose with american ginseng.30 days later,blood sugar,hepatic glycogen and muscle glycogen were determinated before or instant after exercise and 36h after exercise.Results(1) Compared with control,sucrose and american ginseng could increase hepatic glycogen before exercise(P<0.01,P<0.05),sucrose and combination sucrose with american ginseng could increase hepatic glycogen instant after exercise.(2) Compared with control,sucrose and combination sucrose with american ginseng could increase muscle glycogen before or instant after exercise(P<0.01,P<0.05;P<0.05) respectively.(3) Compared with control,there were no significant difference in blood sugar of before,instant after or 36h after exercise in all test groups(P>0.05).Conclusions The study indicated that sucrose,combination sucrose with American ginseng can be used to functional food or sporting drink for relieving physical fatigue.

    Objective To compare the effect of two commercial feeds with different nutrient level on growth and reproduction performance in BALB/c mice for providing some scientific data for the utilization of feeds in laboratory mice production.Methods 32 BALB/c adult female mice,18 litter of pup mice and 20 growing mice were randomly divided into two groups and fed two commercial feeds(A and B) with different nutrient level,respectively.The litter size,litter weight in 0~3 weeks,continuate fetus ratio and 4~10 weeks' body weight were determined and analyzed.Results The litter weight and continuate fetus ratio were increased when feeding feeds A,but no significant difference was found on litter size and 5~7 weeks' body weight between two feeds.

    Objective Oligozoospermia animal model was induced in Cynomolgus monkey for evaluating drug effect about male infertility.Methods Gossypol acetic acid,4mg·kg~-1d~-1,8mg·kg~-1d~-1,12mg·kg~-1d~-1,20mg·kg~-1d~-1,was administered individual orally for 90 days in adult male Cynomolgus monkeys.Semen parameters were obtained every 15 days by penil electroejaculation.The histology of testis were determined to evaluate the toxicology after 90days administration.Results The sperm concentration markedly decreased since days 30 of treatment with a total inhibition of sperm motility.Obvious damage was appeared after treatment with gossypol acetic acid at the dosage of 20mg·kg~-1d~-1 for 90 days.Conclusion Oligozoospermia was established by oral admillistration with gossypol acetic acid in Cynomolgus monkeys.

    Objective To analyse genetic diversity among Rhesus monkey from Hainan and Guangxi by using microsatellite DNA.Methods Eleven microsatellite loci were tested for the rhesus monkeys from Hainan and Guangxi.Allele frequency,number of effective alleles(Ne),polymorphism information contents(PIC) and heterozygosity(H) for every microsatellite locus were calculated by softwrare Popgene32.Results All eleven microsatellite loci were highly polymorphic with heterozygosity ranging from 0.7066 to 0.9025,polymorphism information content from 0.5143 to 0.8270 and number of effective alleles from 3.0000 to 7.1553.Mean values of Ne、PIC and H for Guangxi rhesus monkeys were a little higher than those for Hainan respectively.Conclusion The differences could be attributed to the different geographic origins of two populations.This study laid out a theoretical foundation for further analysis of the genetic diversity among rhesus monkeys by using microsatellite markers.

    The possibility of artificially inducing activation of MII buffalo oocytes may allow us to evaluate indirectly the quality of oocytes after in vitro maturation.Furthermore,efficient artificial activation is indispensable for the success of cloning programs.The aim of this work was to evaluate the effects of aging of buffalo oocytes on post-parthenogenetic development,and compare the effects of different chemical activation on the development of buffalo parthenogenetic oocytes.A further goal was to compare buffalo embryo development after IVF and after chemical activation.There were significant difference in blastocyte development rate among the oocyte matured in vitro for 27h or 30h(19.0% or 17.7%) in comparison with them matured in vitro for 21h or 24h(12.3% or 13.8%).Within the activation groups,ion+6DMAP can activate buffalo oocytes effectively.The work also demonstrated that chemical activation resulted in a significantly higher blastocyst rate compared with the IVF group(13.0% vs 21.7%).

    Objective Illuminate the method of using MS-302 analytical system to determine some physiological norms of the rats.Method 10 clean Wistar rats were used in this study.To determine the frequency of heart beat,the blood pressure of neck artery,the frequency of breath,the extent of breath muscle of the rats using MS-302 physical analytical system.Result The heart rate was 331~378 beat/min.The average blood pressure was 92.4~115.9mmHg,the average blood contract pressure was 101.7~129.3mmHg,the average blood loosen pressure was 92.4~115.9mmHg.The frequency of breath was 56~92 beat/min,the extent of breath muscle was 3.8~6.0g.Conclusion The MS-302 system provides a good reference foundation in determining some physiological norms of animals.

    Objective To expand laboratory investigation of hypertension and study a new method for establishing renovascilar hypertensive rat model.Methods The acupuncture needle and silkgature were used to instead of clip to narrow the renal artery of rats.Results A success rate of 86% was got in our experiment.The obviously elevated SBP in rats were showed two weeks after operation respectively.Conclusion This modified methods is feasible and with a higher successful rate and can be used to study hypertension further.
