Abstract: Recently, the incidence of depression has been gradually increasing. However, the pathogenesis of it hasn’t been fully clarified. Animal models can mimic the clinical symptoms of depression in human beings, thus they are widely used for studies of the pathogenesis of depression, as well as in research and development of new antidepressants. We usually establish animal models by giving stress, surgery, drugs, and genetic modification. In this article, we summarize currently most used animal models so as to provide the opinion for future use in basic and clinical research.

摘要： 近年来，抑郁症的发病率不断上升，但是抑郁症的病理生理学机制仍有许多未知之处。抑郁动物模型可以模拟人类抑郁症的临床症状且这些症状可被有效的药物逆转，这对于抑郁症的发病机制及抗抑郁药物研发、临床疗效评价都有着重要的应用价值。目前，常见的抑郁动物模型主要通过给予应激、手术、药物、改造基因来构建。本文综合近年来国内外文献对于常用抑郁症动物模型的建立方法和评价体系进行分析总结，以期为抑郁症的相关研究提供参考。
