Abstract: Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of Vitamin A on the islet fibrosis in type 2 diabetes mellitus ( T2DM) animal model of GK ( Goto-Kakizaki) rat. Method After administration of Vitamin A for 2 weeks; and the changes of islet fibrotic area were recorded. 5 μm serial paraffin sections of 4 months old GK rat pancreas were obtained and stained by H&E and Masson staining. Result Masson staining showed that the area of islet fibrosis staining in GK rats were significantly decreased after administration of Vitamin A compared with control group ( 44. 46 ± 16. 98 vs. 60. 22 ± 31. 47 μm2 ) . Conclusion Our study indicated that Vitamin A could significantly decrease islet fibrosis in GK rat.

摘要: 摘要: 目的观察维生素A 对2 型糖尿病( T2DM) 大鼠胰岛纤维增生的影响。方法维生素A 补充2 周后,将GK大鼠胰腺石蜡切片行HE 和Masson 染色,观察胰岛纤维化区域变化。结果补充维生素A 组GK ( Goto-Kakizaki)大鼠胰岛纤维增生区域明显减少。结论外源性给予维生素A 能显著减少T2DM 胰岛纤维增生。
