Abstract: Abstract: Strain selection scientifically is important guarantee for maintaining beagle dogs’genetic stability． Referencing to the AKC standard and combining with the current situation of domestic Beagle dog breeding center， this article aims to discuss problems that we face to when selecting the parental Beagle dogs from perspectives such as appearance signs，Physical signs ，personality，genetic signs，etc．
