  # Statement on Fake Official Websites of the Journal
  Recently, our editorial department has received multiple reports from readers that lawbreakers have impersonated the official website of *Laboratory Animal Science* via the following links, conducting illegal manuscript solicitation, defrauding fees and seeking improper gains. Such acts have seriously infringed the legitimate rights and interests of the journal, authors and readers, and damaged the journal’s reputation.

  We have formally reported the above infringements to the Internet Information Center and the Internet Illegal and Harmful Information Reporting Center for investigation and disposal.
  
  We hereby solemnly declare that the journal has never authorized any third-party websites, institutions or individuals to accept manuscripts or handle submission matters on our behalf. To avoid fraud, our exclusive official contact information is announced as follows:
