Official Launch of Beijing "National Training and Assessment System for Laboratory Animal Professionals"
• # Beijing National Laboratory Animal Personnel Training and Assessment System Officially Launched
  The **National Laboratory Animal Personnel Training and Assessment System (LAPTEST)** has been officially put into operation. It was jointly developed by the Beijing Laboratory Animal Management Office, the Beijing Laboratory Animal Industry Association and Beijing Huaxia Xunlian Information Technology Co., Ltd.
  
  The research and development of LAPTEST received continuous funding support from the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission. Relevant provisions concerning this system are stipulated in the **Measures for the Administration of Work Permits for Laboratory Animal Practitioners in Beijing**. After years of trial operation and optimization, the first online computer-based examination on this newly launched system was held in the network classroom of Capital Medical University on April 17, 2014.
