Abstract: Tree shrew is a new type of laboratory animal being developed in China, which has been widely used in life science research. It has a close relationship with human beings and many biological characteristics are similar to human beings. Establishing artificial population of tree shrews and carrying outstandardization research are important guarantees to make tree shrew laboratory animal. The standardization and application of tree shrews were briefly summarized in this paper.

摘要： 树鼩是我国正在开发的新型实验动物,与人类有较近的亲缘关系,其许多生物学特性也与人类近似,在生命科学研究领域应用广泛。建立树鼩人工种群并开展标准化研究,是实现树鼩实验动物化的重要保证,本文就树鼩的标准化建设工作和应用情况进行简要概述。
