Abstract: Abstract: Mainly based on the constructing progress of laboratory animal science discipline in Capital Medical University，we analyzed the necessity and superiority of establishing a laboratory animal science department in a medical university or school． We also displayed the contents and achievements of laboratory animal science department of Capital Medical University． These experiences would be valuable for development of laboratory animal science discipline in medical university．
