Abstract: Abstract: Objective Study on the effect of lumbago plaster anti-inflammatory action． Method Through determining prostaglandin E2 and histamine in local tissue around the nerve root of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion model rat，and researching anti-inflammatory effect by using rat agar granuloma and ear swelling of mice induced by xylene． Result ( 1) compared with the model group，prostaglandin E2 content in the middle dose and the high dose group decreased significantly，histamine content in the low group，middle group and the high group decreased obviously，the difference was significant． ( 2) compared with the control group，the weight of granuloma in the low，middle and the high dose group decreases obviously，the difference was significant． ( 3) compared with the control group，ear swelling in the low，middle and the high dose group decreases obviously，the difference was significant Conclusion lumbago plaster can significantly reduce nerve root local inflammatory mediators，it also
