Abstract: Laboratory animal facility needs high requirement for air handling, not only fresh air with proper temperature, humidity and cleanliness are needed, but also the waste gas of wet and hot as well as the gas with the feces odor should be disposed. What’s more, the adverse effects on the environment around the facility need to be avoided. Thus, this article will introduce the basic principles, common method and main treatments of the air handling of laboratory animal facility, so as to provide reference for the construction and management of laboratory animal facility. The procedures such as air purification, ventilation and adjustment of air and deodorization will be discussed.
