Abstract: Abstract: The application of the suture-occluded method for cerebral ischemia-reperfusion in rats is widely used， but there are many factors that affect the success rate． The cerebral ischemia animal models are very important in the course of the study of ischemic cerebrovascular disease，and at present the method has been extensively used for studying ischemia-reperfusion injury． The choice of rats，the use of narcotic drugs，the use of suture and operation method is the key factors in the process of model making． In this paper，the method and characteristics of the model of local cerebral ischemia in rats by suture-occluded method are summarized and introduced．
