Abstract: Objective\ To explore the methods of inducing the animal model of heart\|\%qi\% deficiency syndrome.Methods\ The animal model was established by giving basic amount of food for 24 days,compelling to swim with a burden of 5% of their weights until they exhausted,and feeding a great quantity of Propranolol (2.4mg/100g) in 40 SD rats.In order to prove the model was indeed the heart\| qi deficiency syndrome model,the authors divided the animal into ginseng group and normal control group.Results\ Compared with the normal group,the cardiac functions of contraction and relaxation in the model group decreased;the quantity of myocardial SOD decreased which reflects the deficiency syndrome,and the quantity of MDA increased.All the changes of the fixed quantity indexes were coincident with heart\| qi deficieny syndrome.Conclusion\ The multiple methods, giving basic amount of food,compelling to swim with burden and feeding Propanolol to establish the model of heart\| qi dificiency syndrome,are feasible.
