Abstract: Objective　According to national standard Laboratory Animal-Environment and Housing Facilities, the operational test indicators which did not meet the criteria of experiment facility in barrier environment were analyzed to provide references for management and maintenance of laboratory animal facilities.Methods　According to appendices A-D and G-I of Laboratory Animal-Environment and Housing Facilities,temperature, relative humidity, air velocity, air exchange rate, static differential pressure, noise, animal illuminance, working illuminance and ammonia concentration of the barrier facilities were tested.Results　All indicators failed to meet the national standard requirements for barrier facilities except air velocity, including temperature, relative humidity, air exchange rate, static differential pressure, noise, animal illuminance, working illuminance and ammonia concentration. Among them, the failure rate of static differential pressure reached 91.3%. Conclusion　Choosing appropriate air conditioning system,maintaining ventilation ducts and exchanging various level of filters in time provide effective guarantee for experiment facilities in barrier environment to conform to national standard.
