Abstract: Objective To study possible functions of the drug-dependent constipation by observing morphological distributions and quantitative changes of goblet cells and 5-HT cells of the drug-dependent constipation in rats. Methods To development model of drug-dependent constipation in rats and to use the immunohistochemistry SABC,common histological method and cell counting for observing the morphological distributions and quantitative changes of goblet cells,5-HT cell of intestine in rats. Results Compared with the normal control group, the number goblet cells and 5-HT of intestine of rats decreased and the immunohistochemical reaction duoenum deceased obviously in latter. Conclusion The morphological distributions and quantity of goblet cells, immune cells 5-HT has changed in intestinal of drug dependence constipation rat.It is suggested that the changes of morphological distribution and quantity of intestinal goblet cells, immune cells 5-HT may be an important factor of constipation drug dependence.
