Abstract: Objective Many SPF animal rooms were upgraded and reconstructed on the basis of the old ordinary rooms in our country,there are some deficiencies in the design of automatic monitoring system.In generally,the temperature,cleanliness,and the room pressure gradience are easily controlled.However,the humidity control is very hard,especially in the winter and rainy season.In addition,the monitoring system usually emphasizes on the monitoring function,but the control function is weak,and there is no electronic record reserved in the system.Based on these deficiencies,our laboratory animal room has been upgraded and the reconstructed,and performance of the new system is good.
